General Terms and Conditions of Rental for a Cottage in Vielle Louron, 65240 Hautes-Pyrénées

1. Purpose of the Contract
These general terms and conditions govern the rental of the cottage located in Vielle Louron, 65240 Hautes-Pyrénées.

2. Occupancy

  • The cottage can accommodate up to 4 adults and 2 children (aged 3 to 14 years in a bunk bed).
  • The accommodation is not suitable for children under 3 years old.

3. Pets
Pets are not allowed in the cottage.

4. No Smoking
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside and on the terraces of the cottage.

5. Nearby Buildings

  • The cottage shares a roof with a second cottage that is currently undergoing interior finishing. The Barton family may be present during your stay.
  • We have a vegetable garden behind the parking area, and we share the produce in the summer when possible.
  • We are committed to ensuring your stay is not disrupted, and the work is scheduled for completion in December 2026.

6. What is included in the rental price

  • Towels, bed linen, and kitchen towels will be provided and changed weekly for stays longer than 7 days.
  • Cleaning is carried out at the end of each stay, or every 7 days for longer stays.
  • We are registering for TVA and this will already be included in the price you see.
  • Electricity and wifi.

7. Tourist Tax

  • A nightly tourist tax, which also includes a departmental and regional charge, is applied, in accordance with current regulations. This tax is imposed by the government and is collected by us on behalf of the administration.
  • This is in addition to the price we display on our calendar and will be detailed in the facture issued at the time of final payment.

8. Departure Rules

  • Before your departure, please ensure that the cottage is emptied of all your personal belongings, including food and refrigerated/frozen items.
  • All rubbish must be disposed of in the bins provided in the village.
  • If possible, we would appreciate it if you could strip the beds.
  • We ask you to leave the cottage in a tidy state to ensure our cleaning team can prepare it for our next guests.

9. Personal Welcome

  • We offer a personalised welcome service during specified arrival times.
  • Therefore, it is essential that you inform us of your arrival time the day before so that we can arrange key collection.

10. Rental Period

  • The rental period is agreed upon at the time of booking.
  • Arrivals and departures must be respected according to the agreed times.

11. Security Deposit

  • A security deposit may be required upon arrival. This deposit will be refunded after a final inspection.

12. Cancellation
All cancellations must be notified in writing. Cancellation conditions will be specified at the time of booking.

13. Liability
The tenant is responsible for any damage caused during their stay. Liability insurance is therefore recommended.

14. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
Booking the cottage implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.
